Five minute crafts store, named ‘Craft’ in honor of five minutes of India’s artisans, has opened in the newly-built building of the new ‘Mumbai Industrial Estate’ (MIE) at Thane.
The new store, set to open in the early hours of March 1, has been designed to attract artisans and entrepreneurs who would like to create and sell their work to the public, according to owner and architect Aneesh Kapoor.
“Craft’ is a brand name for our new shop, which is aimed at creating a place where people can come and buy their artworks and take them home for a five minute craft, Kapoor told PTI.
The store has been built on an 18-acre site at the periphery of the city.”
We hope the shop will help us to build the next stage of our business.
The shops are being built with the aim of creating a brand of the industry.
I hope the people will come and purchase their art for a very short period of time and that the shops will be able to sustain their existence,” Kapoor said.
While the shop has a large, glass-fronted space, it will also feature a large outdoor space. “
We want to create a space where people come and take their works home for five minutes and we are planning to open more of the craft shops throughout the city,” he said.
While the shop has a large, glass-fronted space, it will also feature a large outdoor space.
“It is a beautiful spot with outdoor space, which we hope people will feel comfortable and feel that they are part of this community,” Kapur said.
Kapoor said the new store is aimed to offer a space that people can take their art to and create it in their own style.
“Our shop will cater to the people of Mumbai.
I am happy to offer artworks in the shops of the people in Mumbai,” he added.
